A potential date has been set for the awards gala to be held in Sydney in November.
Bella Spazio was named as a finalist for the NSW Spa or Salone with four rooms or less award.
Macquarie Medi Spa director Carla McDiarmid said the business was nominated Salon Team of the Year, Best Salon Training, and Spa Director of the Year.
"We've won four of these awards in the past in 2017 and 2018 we took out two awards each," she said.
"Last year we were finalists."
Miss McDiarmid said there was an extensive entry process and the judges are tough so it's incredible to be nominated.
Although the coronavirus pandemic did affect the business earlier this year and for the first time there won't be a party for the spa's fourth birthday next month, Miss McDiarmid said business is great at the moment.
"We've never been busier, we have a record July," she said.
Bella Spazio owner and manager Lisa Fowler said it is the first time the business has been nominated and the staff at the Orange-based business were ecstatic to be named as finalists.
"The girls worked really hard, it's nice for the whole team," she said.
The good news comes at a time when it has been tough for small businesses.
"We were shut for 10 weeks, it's really tough times for people.
"We've just been working really hard and looking after our clients and we are keeping in line with the recommendations until we are told otherwise."
Online tool kit
A new online toolkit is helping businesses navigate the challenges of COVID-19.
The Business Connect Online Toolkit includes more than 35 webinars on a range of business-related subjects, fact sheets and training videos.
Minister for Small Business Damien Tudehope said the webinars contained invaluable tips for business owners to access to the tools and resources they need to relaunch or re-establish during these challenging times.
"Anyone can access the toolkit, and since the webinars are all pre-recorded, they can be watched at any time," he said.
