A slow start cost Eva Reith Snare's Confederates a victory in their round three draw against Ex-Services and now, the rep star aims to lead her troops out of the blocks quickly in their clash against Bathurst City.
"Playing right from the start is definitely a goal for tomorrow's game," Reith-Snare said.
"The last three games we've struggle to get going in the first 30 minutes so hopefully tomorrow we can start a bit better.
"We're just focusing on working as a team and having fun like always."
Reith-Snare knows City will be provide stiff competition but as long as the effort's there from her girls, she'll be happy.
"They've proven to be a strong team for the last few years so we just need to get in there, work for each other and give it a good crack," she said.
It's hard to forecast where Confederates will be at the business end of the season but the rep star knows if things click, they will be thereabouts when the whips are cracking.
"Our side definitely has potential," she said.
"We are a younger side than normal this year so it will be interesting but we'll try our best and work hard for each other and hopefully be happy with the end result.
"Overall, this year's been very interesting for all the team so we've been stoked with our results so far, especially with such little preparation."
The girls kick-off in Bathurst at 1.50pm.
