It won't substitute the sideline experience but Astley Cup coordinator Tegan Dray says it's something to be excited about.
"We tried this last year and it was very successful," Dray said. "It's going to be really great to be able to offer that so the community will be able to watch."
It's been a tricky winter of planning for the three schools set to compete in the Astley Cup but the event is now less than three weeks away from coming to fruition.
"There's excitement there but a lot of planning has been around how we can make it happen safely for all our participants," Dray said.
"We're always monitoring the health advice we receive."
For the Hornets in 2020, it will be trying to get back into the winner's circle as the side hasn't lifted the trophy since 2016 and while there's going to be plenty of talent on show for OHS, Dray knows the students will need to shake off the cobwebs first.
"We've got a lot of talented kids throughout different sports," she said.
"We're sure there will be a little bit of rust in us, though. They have managed to do a couple of training sessions so hopefully that can help us."
It's going to be really great to be able to offer that. We tried this last year and it was very successful.

OHS released all nine teams set to compete in the prestigious event on Thursday, with a stack of local talent on displayed across the different codes. Orange Hawks talent Ben Blimka is set to compete in both tennis and rugby league as the latter side looks to compete with the iron strong footy pedigree that Bathurst and Dubbo possesses.
Emily Irwin, Poppy Keegan, Caitlin Prestwidge and Milly Wilcox are among 10 players confirmed for the Hornets' netball side as the powerhouse looks to continue its run of good results in the tournament.
In addition to naming all of its sides for the competition, Orange High School released an announcement regarding the expectations it has of its students during a sensitive time.
"Team selections, and your participation, are dependent upon conditions being met in our OHS Representative Sport Policy," the announcement said. "We are very proud of all of our students and their achievements and abilities, but we also have very high standards and expectations for everyone involved representing our school in sport.
"All of these expectations are clearly linked to our school values of being respectful, being safe and being learners. "There are also a few changes to how Astley is normally run this year, and these will be communicated to students at the meeting tomorrow."
