It's not something you see every day but fans who attended Orange Emus' home opener on Saturday saw first-grade skipper Charlie Henley score a trifecta of tries in his side's 50-10 dismantling of Orange City.
The first two tries didn't set the world on fire, but his last one did.
After the game, Henley spoke about the significant of his treble but attributed most of it to his teammates.
"It's the hard work from our forwards that gets us in those position," Henley said.
"I got one last year but they don't come around that often," he laughed.
