Co-owners Ben Coster and Mitchell Brown, a qualified chef, have been baking the popular pies from Mr Brown's kitchen throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the business has steadily grown in popularity.
Mr Coster said the business was planned for about 12 months and their first market was to be the first one that was cancelled due to coronavirus so with the frozen pies already made they started a delivery service.
"Two to three weeks later we couldn't meet demand so we decided to buy a shop and make a go of it," Mr Coster said.
The shop will open soon at the Homemakers Centre next to Harvey Norman. with the date to be announced, It is still being refurbished and the opening date is to be announced.
Real estate expansion
Fitzgerald Estate Agents is opening a new shopfront in Molong.
Rural sales specialist Scott Petersen will be the face of the Molong office, which will open on August 15.
"We are unofficially open now," Mr Petersen said.
"I just saw an opportunity with the way Orange is going with the growth and the prices," Mr Petersen said.
"People are getting priced out of Orange in that first home buyer market."
He said there was also access to rural properties around Molong and with more people now realising they can work from home they are showing an interest in a tree change.
"We are in a very desirable part of the world," he said.
London calling for Tamburlaine
Tamburlaine Organic Wines has continued its winning streak taking out a gold, two silvers and a bronze medal at the 2020 London Wine Competition.
Tamburlaine managing director Mark Davidson said it was a significant win.
"This year's competition saw close to 1000 entries from more than 43 countries so we were exceptionally pleased to come away with a gold medal for our 2018 Marlowe - Act One, two silver medals for Point 65 Arneis and point 65 Viognier, and a bronze for the 2018 Orange Reserve Malbec," he said.
There were 198 wines from Australia, 126 from Italy, 124 from France, and 101 from Spain - in the wine competition.
