Both sides are coming off round two wins as Feds took out CYMS while Exies defeated Bathurst City.
Ellen Warner's set to kit up for Feds on Saturday and says she's keen to clash with a rival.
"It's always excited to play a local derby... you play against your mates who you've played reps with and that makes it twice as good," Warner said.
"We need to play like we did last week - as a team and trust our ability and skill."
Before the season started, the onus was placed on some of the more youthful members of the squad and those are girls who've been stepping up in recent times.
"The younger players took on more of a responsibility last week," she said.
"We have had some practises in now so we've got to know each other better and that reflected in the game with us being able to find each other on the field easier."
Pete Shea's CYMS will do battle with Bathurst St Pat's in which shapes as an almighty task for the young side. That match will take place in Orange at 1.55pm.
