It's the second officer to be charged with alleged misconduct.
In 2018, investigators from Western Region and Professional Standards Command started a joint investigation into reports of misconduct.
A senior constable was issued with a court attendance notice on Tuesday for misconduct in public office, attempt to pervert the course of justice, hinder investigation, and neglect of duty.
The officer was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Parkes Local Court on Monday, August 3.
Meanwhile, a 56-year-old sergeant attached to Western Region, who was charged on Thursday, May 21 with a total of 21 offences, was charged with a further five offences relating to misconduct in a Public Office on Tuesday.
He will also be appearing in Parkes Local Court on Monday, August 3.
