The city's official weather station at the airport recorded 13.4mm on Saturday, while other areas across Orange enjoyed over 20mm, with 21.5mm in rain gauges in region's west.
Rainfall continued on Sunday, too, with an addition 6mm falling across the city at time of print.
The city's combined water storage sits at 28.8 per cent this week.
Suma Park is at 24.54 per cent, with the water level sitting 13 metres below the spillway, while Spring Creek Dam is at 46.31 per cent.
The chance of rain continues into Monday, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting a 50 per cent chance of rain to kick-off the working week, with up to 6mm a chance.
The rest of the working week will be relatively fine, with morning frosts to precede sunny days, with Saturday expected to see a top of 13 degrees.
Orange remains on level five water restrictions.
