A car was stolen from a William Street smash repair business on Saturday night.

Central West Police District Inspector Shane Jessep said it appeared the thief, or thieves, entered the yard and drove the car through locked metal gates to escape.
He said the incident occurred at about 9pm.
Inspector Jessep said the 1989 white Holden Commodore station wagon was believed to have been seen later in Bathurst.
