Orange Ex-Services president Daryl Kennewell stressed the importance of his Premier League Hockey club sticking together ahead of its round two clash with Bathurst City.

The side is fresh off a comprehensive 5-0 loss at the hands of Bathurst St Pat's and while a first-up result like that would normally see teams panic, Kennewell knows his girls have what it takes to bounce back.
"For us it's just about going back to basics and trying to be competitive," Kennewell said.
"We did that at the end of last weekend's game and did pretty well."
As seems to be the story with all of the Orange-based PLH sides this season, there's a lot of inexperience and a substantial lack of depth, something that other clubs don't suffer from as much.
"Some of other other towns have good foundations and solid programs," he said.
"We're still a bit lost and still growing. We've got juniors coming through who are talented but they're not battle-hardened yet.
"We have the talent across the park but couldn't put it together in round one."
The talent that the president speaks of consists of the likes of Sarah Barrett and Amy Hampton - both of whom will be lacing up for Ex-Services this Saturday.
The clash with Bathurst City is the second in what's only a seven-game season and even if the winning results don't come for a while, the side's putting an emphasis on progression.
"It's only a short comp and you've got to make sure the improvement's there quarter to quarter," he said.
"That starts with everyone putting in the hard yards at training and getting on the same page... we don't really have the time sit down and figure out how to make it work - we've just got to put in now."
Kick-off is at 1.55pm at Orange.
