The NSW Southern Highlands will play a starring role int the production of a $100 million Hollywood mini-series.

Nicole Kidman will return to Australia soon to play a leading role in Nine Perfect Strangers, based on the book by best-selling Australian author Liane Moriarty.
Kidman will also produce the miniseries through her production company Blossom Films, along with with Bruna Papandrea of Made Up Stories.
Kidman and her family, as well as cast and crew, will be required to undertake a 14-day quarantine period before production begins.
Destination Southern Highlands group manager Steve Rosa said the Hollywood star's presence would provide a boost for the area.
"The Southern Highlands will obviously benefit through her presence and will receive some great PR and awareness along with celebrity spotters," Mr Rosa said.
The Southern Highlands economy has taken a significant hit in recent months.
Firefighters fought several bushfires in and around the Southern Highlands from November to February, including the Green Wattle Creek fire, the Morton fire and the Currowan fire.
Small businesses have also been affected by COVID-19 restrictions, drought as well as flooding in February.
A spokeswoman for NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet told the Southern Highland News in a statement that the production was expected to create "hundreds of jobs" across NSW.
This includes 1300 casuals, 350 extras, 250 crew and 20 Australian cast.
"It will also have a significant indirect economic impact by providing support for local accommodation, hospitality and tourism industries, in addition to the arts sector," the spokeswoman said.
"It's expected to inject more than $100 million into the Australian economy."
The spokeswoman did not specify if any of the newly-created jobs would directly benefit the Southern Highlands.
Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness facility that promises healing and transformation, as nine stressed city-dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.
In a statement released by US streaming service Hulu, Kidman described the production as "sometimes thrilling, sometimes mysterious and sometimes funny".
"The series dares us to dream, transform, transcend... all you have to do is check in," she said.
