South East Melbourne Phoenix have made the biggest early splash in the NBL free agency market by signing Boomers guard Cameron Gliddon on a two-season deal.

The 30-year-old sharpshooter joins fellow Australia international Mitch Creek at the Phoenix as they shore up local talent before the planned 2020-21 NBL season tip-off in December.
Adelaide 36ers have signed former rookie of the year Isaac Humphries while Brisbane Bullets and Melbourne United have recruited emerging talents Tanner Krebs and Jack White respectively out of the US college system.
The Hawks - now operating under a new name, ownership and master coach Brian Goorjian - have added journeyman Deng Deng on a roster that will have a fresh look.
Gliddon's move after two seasons with Brisbane is a boost for South East Melbourne just days after they lost veteran pair Tai Wesley and Ben Madgen, both retired, and star point guard John Roberson to an overseas move.
Back-up big man Dan Trist has moved to the NZ Breakers.
Gliddon has already settled in Melbourne and joins Creek, Gibson, Adnam, Dane Pineau and Kendall Stephens on the Phoenix roster, which has two import slots free.
"I'm really excited. When the team reached out and said they were interested, I was really happy," Gliddon said.
"I really liked what the Phoenix did last year.
"Everything I heard from Gibbo (Adam Gibson) and Kyle Adnam and Dane Pineau while I was at the Boomers was positive.
"I was really excited that they showed interest in me and that the deal got done and I'm down here."
Tasmania product Krebs has spent the past four seasons playing college basketball with the Saint Mary's and has represented Australia at junior level.
The 24-year-old joins the Bullets as one of the country's top prospects and will link up with guard Anthony Drmic, who has moved from Adelaide.
"The way Tanner plays the game and his work ethic fit nicely with who we are as a team," Brisbane coach Andrej Lemanis said.
United are still yet to re-sign captain Chris Goulding, who is listed as a free agent, while Perth Wildcats - the reigning champions - are looking to fill a big hole in their front court after losing Nick Kay to Spanish outfit Real Betis.
