The six homes and a shared driveway access would sit on the 2138 square metre site in one of Orange's newest streets, Balmoral Drive.
A development application for the subdivision has been lodged with Orange City Council and is now on public exhibition.
The land is vacant and treeless.
The six proposed dwellings range in size from 249 square metres to 410 square metres.
Two of them would front Balmoral Drive while the other four are located behind them.
Five of the six dwellings will have three bedrooms and one will have two bedrooms.
Features include an ensuite to the main bedroom, an open plan kitchen/dining/living area and an attached garage for each property.
The DA is on public exhibition until Friday July 24.
