Mrs Stewart said this is a great initiative to help people get back into local businesses.
"It took less than three minutes go onto the YourSay Orange website to put my name down and I'm very excited to be one of the winners," she said.
The retail recovery campaign is planned to kick-start businesses hard hit by COVID-19 by giving away one thousand gift cards.
As a navy reservist by day, Mrs Stewart said she will be looking to buy something for herself.
"This time round I want to indulge myself and I've had my eye on some handbags and decorative pot plants at Mary and Tex Curious Emporium," she said.
She said her family moved to Orange 18-months ago and have never looked back.
"When we moved here from Sydney, we have been able to build a house and the town has such a great vibe about it," Mrs Steward said.
"We have enjoyed being able to go out and about with the kids and be involved as much as to give back to the community.
"Since being here, I have been an active member in the RSL sub-branch and am looking to put my name down for the Orange Ex-Services' Club director."
After Mrs Stewart's family moved up, her parents decided to make the tree change to Orange in April.
"They wanted to get out of the rat race of the city and they are really enjoying it so far," she said.
"People have been calling in to check up on them and they thought it was really nice that the community cares about them too."
