Newcrest's Cadia Valley Operations has provided funding for laptops and computers for the Orange District Early Education Program.
ODEEP has received funding for 10 laptops and 10 iPads through Cadia's Community Partnership Program, which has focused on providing funds to assist groups and organisations affected by COVID-19.
ODEEP general manager Kylie Streatfield said the laptops and tablets had allowed families to remain connected with ODEEP's services through the pandemic.
"The donation of laptops and iPads has allowed us to continue to offer our intervention services to families during the government-imposed lockdown, and we are now fortunate to continue to offer a telehealth service to families who prefer the online session It has allowed us to diversify our business and provide more flexibility for our families," she said.
Cadia's acting general manager, Aaron Brannigan said it would help up to 20 families in the region.
