The Woodbridge Cup club had unofficially requested to be a part of the Midwest competition after their home league folded last month.
While Cargo was initially knocked back, they were told to apply officially to the league after clarification around the application process - which has now been sorted out.
Group 10 president Linore Zamparini confirmed the club would line up as part of the eight-round competition in the senior men and league tag grades, both of which will begin on July 18.
"They have been in Midwest before and for quite a few years, we're bringing them back into the fold for this year," he said.
Zamparini said there would be no chance for the Blue Heelers to bring in players from fellow Woodbridge Cup sides like Canowindra or Manildra.
"They're in for one year only, 2020, get to represent themselves," he said.
"We don't want them raiding other clubs, but from what I understand they're representing themselves and they've got all their own players which is good to see."
He said there had been no change over player availability, with a panel to be set up to determine if exemptions could be made on transfers.
"There'll be a qualifying panel for the mid-west group to judge player movements, but we're determined to make sure it's local players where we can," he said.
"It's not just us who has to clear it, home clubs need to release players too."
