As a resident who lives not far from Bathurst Road and the proposed Taco Bell restaurant I have no objection to the development in principle.

If people really want to dine in or drive through Taco Bell, McDonalds or Hungry Jacks and eat their food, that's entirely up to them.
What I do object to is the habit of a significant minority of their customers of simply throwing away the packaging, of which there is an inordinate amount.
Winding down the car window or simply dropping paper bags and thick shake containers as they walk, is the preferred method of disposal for many take-away food consumers.
A condition of Taco Bell's approval, and indeed any take-away food outlet, should be a large sign at the exit point saying: "Please don't throw our packaging crap on Orange's streets."
