Member for Calare Andrew Gee said on a farm near Euchareena on Monday 99 per cent of goods exported to Indonesia would now go duty free or under improved arrangements.

"This is a big win for our country exporters who have been doing it tough due to the devastating impacts of the drought, bushfires and COVID-19 pandemic," he said.

"In these challenging times, the ability for our primary producers and businesses to get their products to overseas markets is crucial to the economic stability of our region.

"Indonesia is our 13th largest export market and is expected to grow to be the world's fifth largest economy by 2030, so there is huge potential for the relationship to grow.

"This is great news for local red-meat exporters like James Brazier, who manages and runs Pipers Flat, and Tim Sullivan, [sales director] from Endeavour Meats, who stand to be some of the biggest beneficiaries of the IA-CEPA," he said.

"Cattle exports will now enter Indonesia duty free, while frozen beef and sheep meat exports will enjoy a 50 per cent tariff decrease."

Mr Sullivan said it would boost farmers in the region.

"Primary producers and agricultural exporters have seen huge gains as a direct result of the free trade agreements the Government has concluded with Japan, Korea and China," he said.

"Adding Indonesia to that list is sure to deliver big wins for farmers and other exporters right across the region."

On Monday Mr Gee also announced funding for the Cumnock Village Preschool under the Stronger Communities Program and funds for the Manildra Preschool under round four of the Building Better Regions Fund.

Cumnock PreSchool received $5300 to repair the roof of its bathroom.

Manildra Preschool received $50,400 to upgrade their bathroom facilities.

"The funding will be used to establish two children's toilets and an adult's toilet with a nappy change room, ensuring our country kids and their fantastic teachers have access to hygienic and comfortable amenities," he said.

"Manildra Preschool is a vital part of our community, and the staff and parents work tirelessly to support the facility through ongoing fundraising activities."
