Glenroi Heights Public School teacher Cameron Cowan will be spending the July winter holidays driving 3,000 kilometres across the state raising awareness of mental health.
He will be joined by his Newcastle mate Matt Beaven and they have a plan set to visit all the Royal Hotels across New South Wales in less than two weeks.
"We will kick off the tour at the Royal Hotel in Orange on July 6, then travel to places like Gilgandra, Oberon, Carcoar, Richmond and Newcastle," he said.
"The response and support has been overwhelming and I know that Matt and I will have a good time.
"The event will start at 5pm and people are more than welcome to join us for a drink, eat a meal and talk about mental health."
Mr Cowan said he had a conversation with Matt last weekend and decided to get in contact with a mental health organisation to support his cause.
"I got in touch with the LIVIN Organisation because they have this saying 'It ain't weak to speak' and I think it's important to have these discussions with people," he said.
Royal Hotel manager Adam Isbester said he is really pleased the event will be kicking off in Orange.
"There needs to be more done to support people who are suffering with mental health," he said.
"They have a hectic schedule in front of them but it's a great idea because we all know someone who has been affected by it."
