No snow is on the radar, but the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a sheep graziers warning for the region ahead of the weekend, with a low of zero degrees expected to feel much cooler thanks to showers and westerly winds forecast for Saturday.
The average maximum temperature for July in Orange is 9.7 degrees.
Sunday is tipped to be cloudy, with a top of seven.
Across the Central West, some snow is possible from 10pm on Friday through until 7am on Saturday in areas around Meadow Flat, Oberon and Jenolan Caves.
Roads to the top of Mount Canobolas remain open.
