Water restrictions in Molong will be eased to Level 4 from Friday after the level of Molong Creek Dam reached 50 per cent.

Residents will be able to water gardens between 4pm-6pm on Wednesdays and Sundays during winter.
Watering systems, non-fixed sprinklers and handheld hoses are not permitted at any time, however microsprays, drip systems and soaker hoses are allowed.
Watering of lawns, irrigation of new turf, filling of temporary or children's pools and washing down of walls or paved surfaces is still not permitted. However residents can now top up garden water features.
The first fill of a pool is allowed only with Cabonne Council permission and topping up of your pool at home is allowed during 7am-9am and 6pm-8pm only, provided pool covers are used.
Washing of cars is permitted only on lawns between 9am-noon. Five-minute showers are encouraged and washing of clothes should occur with full loads only.
Cumnock and Yeoval remain on Level 2 restrictions.
Cabonne Mayor Cr Kevin Beatty said the easing of water restrictions was welcome news.
