NSW Police rural crime investigators arrested the man on Monday following two alleged break and enter offences at a rural property on Tea Tree Road in Garland.

"Police allege that the man broke into the property on two separate occasions in 2019 and 2020 and stole motorcycles and other property," state rural crime co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.

"Rural crime investigators, assisted by local police from the Central West Police District, executed a search warrant at the man's home in Phillip Street, Orange and three stolen trail bikes and six stolen motorbike helmets were recovered."

The man was charged with two counts of break, enter and steal, and will appear in Orange Local Court in August.

Detective Inspector Whiteside thanked the local community for their assistance in relation to the investigation.

"The public response to media releases concerning this theft were instrumental in solving these crimes," he said.
