The Schoolhouse Restaurant at the Union Bank will reopen next week after more loosening of coronavirus restrictions over the past month.
The iconic venue - which only reopened under a new management in November - has been shut down since March due to COVID-19 but will follow in the footsteps of restaurants, pubs and cafes which have opened back up in recent weeks.
Union Bank venue manager Sarah Crowley said June 18 was the date The Schoolhouse Restaurant would reopen, with an "absolute influx" of requests for bookings already flooding in.
The restaurant will have two 90-minute sittings - one at 5.30pm and one at 7.30pm - on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while two other rooms are also able to be booked and used.
Ms Crowley said she was excited to be opening, saying the closure just before FOOD Week in March had been a massive hit to the new venue.
"We were just finding our feet and coming into FOOD week, into Easter, we were booked out and had two massive functions booked during FOOD week," she said.
"It's better than Christmas basically from a business point of view."
She said the closure due to coronavirus lockdown had happened "so quickly".
"Our last weekend of trade was amazing, the Saturday was incredible, partly because it was such a nice day, and then Sunday it was dead quiet," Ms Crowley said.
Head chef Dom Aboud said he couldn't wait to reopen.
"It's been so long, I just want to get back in the kitchen and get cooking again," he said.
"We seemed to be hitting our straps just as the shutdown started so we had some good ideas, we were looking forward to everything which comes from winter as well from a kitchen sense."
He said while the Schoolhouse Restaurant had tried doing takeaway for "about a week", it just didn't work.
"There are the guys who don't normally do takeaway that did it so well, I take my hat off them," Mr Aboud said.
"But it just wasn't our thing, so we thought we'd bunker down and make sure we came out the other side."
