Anthony Cavallo's had a host of memorable experiences on the back of Alison Smith's Absolute Ripper and on Friday, he'll get to ride the seven-year-old mare in the $20,000 Money Quest Open Handicap (1010m) at Dubbo Turf Club.

Cavallo's been in the saddle for six of Absolute Ripper's seven career wins and even though she's admittedly not 'at her peak', the experienced campaigner thinks the distance and class should see her fare well.
"She's going good enough to win or run a decent race," Cavallo said.
"She's down a bit in class and this is her best distance. She's only got to beat what's around the bush."
Not only has Absolute Ripper trumped a stack of bush-grade horses over the years, she gave Alison Smith a victory at Warwick Farm in 2018, a ride that Cavallo holds close to his heart.
"She's been good to Alison and it's been great to ride her," he said.
"Alison and I have had a fair bit to do with each other... Absolute Ripper's record speaks for itself."
Absolute Ripper's last start was on the heavy nine at Kembla where she ran eighth but the Dubbo track is currently graded as a good four which will give the mare a much better chance.
"The dubbo track looks good so that will work in her favour," he said.
The oddsmakers have her listed as a $10 chance in the eighth race of the day with Brett Thompson's Kookabaa ($2.90) priced up as the favourite.
Cotton on George will race in the $20,000 Sam's Waste Management Class One Handicap (1110) metres after failing to make an impression last-start at Dubbo.
Prior to that, the gelding broke his maiden at Wellington on May 10 and is a $9 chance to notch up his second career win on Friday. Matthew Cahill will be in the saddle. Kris Lees' Cool Missile ($3.50) is the favourite for that event.
Cavallo will also ride Almost Alice and Fanny Chenal for Smith on Friday in races four and nine respectively.
Action gets underway at 11.05am.
