Orange has missed out in a share of $4.6 million in regional funding as projects across Cabonne landed a payday.

No projects in Orange were awarded cash as part of the fourth round of the Federal Government's Building Better Regions fund, which covered 16 projects across the Central West.
Molong's Dr Andrew Ross Memorial Recreation Ground was handed a $200,000 boost for a lighting upgrade, while Canowindra's Tom Clyburn oval will receive the same funding.
Molong's Showground will have a $170,000 amenities upgrade, while Manildra's preschool will get $50,000.
Nealry half a million dollars was put towards the first stage of a multi-purpose community centre in Eugowra, while a $124,000 redevelopment of the medical centre was also given the green light.
An upgrade to Cudal Showground's power and water infrastructure was given nearly $100,000, while Canowindra's Tom Clyburn Oval was awarded $200,000 for a lighting upgrade.
An animal rehoming centre was given the biggest funding boost from the round of grants, with nearly one million dollars going towards the project.
Women's change rooms at Blayney's King George Oval and projects in Lithgow, Oberon, Cowra, Condobolin and Lake Cargellio also received funding.
The Building Better Regions Fund is a Federal Government program aimed at supporting drought affected communities across regional Australia.
