An alleged drink-driver has been charged over a serious crash in the carpark at Orange hospital last month which left a woman in a critical condition.

Emergency services were called to a carpark at the rear of Orange Health Service just after 12 noon on May 19 after the 51-year-old woman had been struck while walking along the pedestrian footpath.
The driver, a 60-year-old man, was arrested on Tuesday at Orange Police Station and charged with dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm, high-range drink driving and negligent driving.
The man allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.217.
The woman was trapped under the man's Ford Territory for a period of time before being rescued by NSW Fire and Rescue and being flown to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Orange Local Court on August 17.
