With an overwhelming response of 150 photography entries with the theme of 'Hometown Pride - Icons of the Central West', Ms Wright said she wanted to celebrate the streetscapes of Orange.
"The photo titled An Orange Autumn highlights the autumn colours and the leaves in the shot encapsulates that," she said.
As a first-time entrant, Ms Wright said she was very excited to be mentioned in the pool of other Central West photographers.
"With over 150 entries, I'm happy to be a part of it and it means there are people who are interested and engaged in photography," she said.
"I will definitely be submitting another entry for next year's competition."
This year's winners and a number of selected entries will feature in RDA Central West's new travelling photo display.
