While junior sport has been given the all-clear to resume from July 1, the NSW government's announcement on Tuesday left senior sport in the cold.

The government again pushed back a date to give any form of clarity on senior competitions, with all sports still waiting on official word before they can lock in start dates.
Orange District Football Association president Tony Mileto said approval from the state government was needed before senior competitions could resume in Orange and wasn't sure when more information would come.
"We respect players want certainty, not just for a structure of the competition but also to know about fees," Mileto said.
"Fee reduction would be a big call for clubs and associations to make."
However, he said he understood if players would want fee reductions if the season was forced to be shorter.
Mileto said the ODFA was approaching the point where it would have to call off the senior season if there was no government advice, but he didn't divulge what date their cut-off point was.
He did say the competition would need to see a limited number of rounds in order to become viable.
"We'd like to see 15 rounds, that's what appears viable for players," Mileto said.
"If it needs to be weeks of double headers we can explore that.
"With the juniors it's not as important as the fees are lower and a lot are covered with Active Kids vouchers, but with seniors it's up towards $250."
