The 25-year-old was driving a silver Mitsubishi Triton just after 9pm on Saturday night and was pulled over due to his manner of driving on Platinum Parade.
The subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.154.
He was charged with high range drink driving by officers from Central West Police District and will face Orange Local Court on July 6.
He was also issued a licence suspension notice.
