Police are warning motorists in Orange if you drink and drive you will be caught after a man in his 20s blew three times the legal limit at a random breath test on Saturday night.
The 25-year-old was driving a silver Mitsubishi Triton just after 9pm on Saturday night and was pulled over due to his manner of driving on Platinum Parade.
The subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.154.
He was charged with high range drink driving by officers from Central West Police District and will face Orange Local Court on July 6.
He was also issued a licence suspension notice.
Western Region Traffic Tactician, Inspector Ben Macfarlane said, while we are amid the COVID-19 pandemic, police will be out in force and will continue targeting dangerous driver behaviour.
"If you drink and drive, expect to be caught and have your licence suspended immediately," he said.
