The $650,000 project was funded by the NSW Government's Safer Roads program.
"I'd like to thank people of the neighbourhood for their patience over the last couple of months while this project took shape" Cr Jeff Whitton said.
"It's going to make this corner much safer for traffic.
"The 'pancake' style of this roundabout is also going to make a difference in the event of flooding.
"We're only metres away from the East Orange stormwater channel, and in the event of heavy rain, this roundabout will help direct water way from nearby houses."
Mr Whitton said the city's newest roundabout as well as the one finished last year at the intersection of Matthews and Hill streets were completed with a $1.25 million grant from the state government.
