AN armed man has been arrested outside a service station on the Great Western Highway he allegedly robbed 10 days earlier.

Police had been investigating after an employee at the business on Sydney Road, Kelso, was threatened and intimidated by a man about 5.30am Wednesday, May 20.
Officers from Chifley Police District were told the man threw coffee around the store before he verbally abused the staff member.
When the employee took cover in a rear office, the man allegedly stole cigarettes and left.
An investigation was initiated and police issued a warrant for the man's arrest last Thursday, May 28.
Following inquiries, a 22-year-old man - allegedly holding a pair of scissors - was arrested outside the same service station about 11.15am on Saturday.
He was taken to Bathurst police station where he was charged with the arrest warrant, robbery, and carrying a cutting weapon on apprehension.
The man, from Kelso, been refused bail to appear in Dubbo Local Court by audio visual link on Sunday.
