At around lunchtime on May 20, officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District executed a Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) at a home on Windeyer Road, Windeyer.
During the search, police located and seized ammunition, cannabis, methylamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, which will undergo forensic examination.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Mudgee Police Station.
He was charged with acquire ammunition subject to prohibition order, firearm found at premises-subject to prohibition order, possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug and goods suspected stolen in/on premises.
He was refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Thursday.
