A major report into plans for the Orange Health and Innovation Precinct will be presented to council.
The plans include health, education, research, commercial, residentials and heritage features for the Bloomfield area.
It is recommended council put the report on exhibition to seek public comment.
Another major report will seek council support for commemorating a largely forgotten area of Orange known as The Springs near the current Shiralee housing estate.
Up until the 1940s it was home to up to 13 mainly-Aboriginal families who lived in metal and timber huts.
Sculptures, silhouettes and signage are proposed for the area.
And council will also be presented with the latest design for a welcome sign to the city.
