Councillors approved the development on Tuesday night, which will build three units above an existing commercial car park, to be used by residents and neighbouring businesses.

Andrew Glastonbury, who owns 2 Hampden Avenue, addressed the council in opposition.
"[It] is significantly higher and not in keeping with adjoining properties," he said.
"The council planner's report supports our position," she said.
Councillors decided the top floor's setback limited the impact.
"They've obviously considered the landowners nearby," councillor Tony Mileto said.
