Home library coordinator Tammy Wilson said she is excited to connect with people through books again.
"We had to temporarily stop the service in March due to the coronavirus but the community has done so well with social distancing," she said.
"I'm thrilled that we're able to reintroduce books and audio books to the people."
The service has been modified to "Drop and Wave" in order to comply with current health restrictions and book deliveries will be left at the residential care facility by library staff.
Approximately 40 to 50 people from the aged care provider and other members of the community have signed up but the service won't be available to new members at this time.
"We have a few members of the community who are blind so we're delighted to send them audio books," she said.
"We will be extending the service to new members when the library officially reopens."
