The council released a statement on Tuesday saying waste payments would only be accepted via EFTPOS and charged in line with the fees listed on signage boards at each waste management facility across the shire.
Commercial account holders will still be expected to provide load statements via email.
Residents have been advised if they had inquiries on site, they should gain staff's attention but maintain appropriate distancing.
The news came as the council also offered a limited number of free dog and cat annual vaccination vouchers.
One voucher will be allocated per household and they are for Cabonne residents only.
The vouchers must be used by Friday, June 26.
The vouchers can be redeemed at Molong, Canowindra, Orange, Cowra, and Wellington veterinary clinics by appointment.
Vouchers can also be redeemed at clinics in Cumnock on the third Wednesday of the month and Yeoval on the first Wednesday of the month.
Residents have been asked to check with their chosen veterinary clinic for current procedures regarding availability of service and social distancing measures in place.
To obtain a voucher, contact the council's environmental services department on 6392 3247.
