Now Woolworths is saying thanks.
The supermarket giant is distributing 'care packages' to truck drivers who deliver to their distribution centres and stores, which includes the Woolworths North Orange supermarket.
The care packages will contain items such as hand sanitiser, tissues, disposable gloves, water, coffee vouchers, and snacks.
Woolworths Chief Supply Chain Officer Paul Graham said the last couple of months have been extremely busy across the supermarket's entire supply chain network.
And keeping up with that demand has been made possible thanks to the hard work of truckies.
"Many drivers will have made sacrifices at work or at home to keep the food and essentials flowing into stores for Australian communities," Mr Graham said.
We appreciate everything they do ... and the care packs are just a small way of giving something extra back.

"We appreciate everything they do ... and the care packs are just a small way of giving something extra back and saying thank you for all their efforts."
Approximately 4000 care packages are being distributed to drivers across the country, put together by Woolworths team members.
"Truck drivers are essential to our business and we want to do what we can to support their safety and wellbeing as well, just like we do for our own team members," Mr Graham added.
Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole was quick to acknowledge the efforts of our freight industry.
Mr Toole said the NSW Government has supported the industry's efforts by lifting curfews to allow supermarkets to operate their loading docks and receive their deliveries 24 hours a day.
"We've also made an exemption to COVID-19 restrictions to ensure roadhouses, roadside rest areas and dedicated truck stop facilities remain open to the truck drivers who are helping to keep the movement of essential goods flowing," he added.
He said it's great to see companies like Woolworths demonstrating their appreciation for the thousands of truckies across the country.
