About $1 million will be provided under the federal government's Drought Communities Program Extension program.
Other projects to receive funding include providing a solar power and battery system at the Canowindra Golf Club and new and upgraded cricket nets at the Molong Recreation Ground.
Funding has been provided for fences at the Memorial Park playground in Cudal, the Molong Recreation Ground skatebowl and the Jack Huxley Oval and the swimming pool in Manildra.
Solid shade structures will be provided at the playgrounds in Cargo and Mullion Creek while Molong Pool will receive a hot water system for the showers.
Dean Park at Cudal scored funding for the second stage of the upgrading of its kiosk, the driveway and parking area.
Repairs and maintenance of community buildings will occur at the Yeoval Museum, Eugowra Rural Transaction Centre and at the Gumble, Baldry and Borenore CWA halls.
Small footpath projects also received funding.
Member for Calare Andrew Gee said the projects would generate local employment.
"One of the great things about the program is that it not only boosts community morale, but also local economies by employing local builders and tradies to do the work and supply the materials," he said.
Cabonne mayor Cr Kevin Beatty said the work would help stimulate the district's economy.
"This will assist our local government area as a whole, stimulating business and employment, particularly for those who have suffered prolonged downturn due to drought," he said.
"Not only will this funding boost local employment and purchases, but it will give us new infrastructure and improvements to community facilities that will provide ongoing benefits for years to come."
Cabonne also received $1 million in the first round of the program last year.
