Real estate agents reported good turnouts at inspections of properties for sale across Orange.
Armed with sanitiser and wearing gloves the estate agents advised people to limit contact within the properties.
Century 21 Orange director Andrew Vogler said he had seven properties open for inspection which was one more than normal.
He said the sellers were keen for the open home inspections to resume.
"The vendors are eager for us to open the homes up and get some people through the doors," he said.
Every one of our vendors is keen for us to have an open home.

"If you've got a house on the market you obviously want to sell it. Every one of our vendors is keen for us to have an open home."
Mr Vogler said the attendance was comparable with pre-coronavirus numbers at the open homes.
"We seemed very busy across every open home. It was a steady flow of buyers," he said.
"Everyone was very respectful of the way we need to operate these days."
Mr Vogler said he was confident before the resumption they would be OK after receiving feedback from West Australian estate agents in his group who had successfully run open homes the week before.
"In WA agents were really busy," he said.
One Agency Orange director Ash Brown said they had continued online 'armchair open' inspections of properties as well as open home inspections.
And he said the online inspections were more popular.
"We were getting between 10 and 20 people on the armchair opens. We were averaging two to five people at the open homes," he said.
"It's about average.
"I'm wondering if people are still in the isolation mode."
He said watching online allowed people to see the property and then decide whether to seek a private inspection during the week.
Some agencies did not operate open homes this weekend instead relying on people booking private inspections.
Stephen Townsend, the principal of Townsend Real Estate, said they would return to having open homes next Saturday. "We have a half dozen [homes] booked for Saturday," he said.
