The shop and go market will be held at the new Mad Hatters site at 137 Peisley Street after Orange City Council ruled against it being held on public land last month.
Origin Chocolate owner Matt Chimenti will be one of a limited number of stalls that will set up at the market site opposite the railway station.
"I'll have a range of specialty bars and also drinking chocolates available just in takeaway bags, perfect for a winters day," Mr Chimenti said.
"Origin Chocolate just want more of a local presence and good involvement in the local farmers market, it can only be a positive thing."
As well as appearing at the market he said he has also been selling his standard orders from buyers in Sydney and he partnered with Small Acres Cyder and Cargo Road Wines for a Mother's Day package.
Kristy Eberly from Riverside Bakery will also sell sweet treats including fruit pies, donuts and cookies, while other stall holders will sell preserves, jams, chutney and sauces.
Orange Farmers Market president Paula Charnock said markets are allowed to proceed amid coronavirus restrictions.
She said all spacial and social distancing requirements and hygiene practices would be adhered to and people were encouraged to visit the farmer's market website and pre-order.
"The customers will not be handling the food, which is significantly different to supermarkets. Instead gloved stallholders will hand the product to the customer," Ms Charnock said.
She said the shop and go market is for locals only and an opportunity to support local growers whose produce will go to waste if not consumed.
After conferring with council staff, the market has been deemed exempt from requiring a development application.
Ms Charnock said like last months' market collection point at The Agrestic Grocer, people will be directed to move in a clockwise direction and shoppers will be spaced at least 1.5 metres apart.
The market committee has asked that only one person per household attend and not to bring dogs on site.
"This is not a social event. It is an opportunity to pick up pre-ordered produce and purchase essential, local, fresh produce," Ms Charnock said.
"Other markets run by agencies continue to operate with measurements in place, and in some cases have increased the number of markets per month to ensure their communities are accessing fresh, local produce, reducing the numbers of people in supermarkets."
