Library reading and writing coordinator Jasmine Vidler said there were activities to keep people occupied while at home
"We've got an Eye Spy activity on our website and there's a 3D photo you can look at, you can find that by going to library kids," Ms Vidler said.
She said in Eye Spy - Old Tek people can find items such as a cassette recorder, hand held games and a rotary phone and they can complete challenges and answer questions.
Ms Vidler said there was also Eye Spy - Treasures in Nature where people can find different objects that are found in nature.
"Some of those things are highlighted to do at home," she said.
"The 3D photograph is really amazing.
Ms Vidler said the library also had a lot of good feedback with the online story time.
"Our storyteller Fiona [Hawke] is uploading videos each day," she said.
Ms Vidler said Ms Hawke waves to the children each day and reads a new story each day with each video available on the library's YouTube page.
"People can drop into story time at home any time," Ms Vidler said.
"For the school holidays we are going to post a garden video, that's Fiona teaching people through planting and what they can do at home."
Ms Vidler said there was also an online scavenger hunt so people could discover new things at the library.
As well as online activities she said people could also borrow eBooks from the website through RB digital and Borrow Box.
"They just need to use their library card and pin number, if they don't know their pin ring up the library," she said.
She said magazines could also be read online.
