The city is jumping on board the 'Buy Them A Coffee Campaign' in a bid to support hospital staff and ambulance officers.
Belinda Strudwick brought the campaign to Orange, Dubbo and Bathurst as because she says those major centres are the sites across the Central West caring for the critically ill patients during the coronavirus pandemic.
"It's a pretty simple concept," Mrs Strudwick said.
When people donate to the GoFundMe page, the money is passed on to coffee vans or cafes based at the hospitals or nearby area.
They then give away free coffees to hospital staff and ambulance officers.
The coffee suppliers make note of the people receiving the coffees - to ensure transparency with the donations - and when the money from their donations is used up, they're sent more funding from the GoFundMe page.
"Once we get the day shift going well we would really like to offer it to night staff also. We have had some interest in this from local providers," Mrs Strudwick said.
Other businesses have also gotten behind the campaign.
