Blind Pig's co-owner John Vandenberg said he's planning to upload videos of the performers who would've played at the venue to its Facebook page.
"These local musicians are also struggling with the lockdown and distancing restrictions because they don't have venues to play at and I want to give something something back for them," said Mr Vandenberg.
Before social distancing restrictions kicked in, the venue had introduced DJ nights.
"We recently renovated the space to have a dance floor for people to have a little boogie and started DJs' nights to reel in the younger people, but we had to close it all down once the restrictions were in place," he said.
"Before we used to comfortably fit 120 people inside the venue but as the restrictions tightened there was one night where we only had 25 people turn up."
Mr Vandenberg said eventually he plans to extend trading hours till 1am for people to enjoy the music, drinks and have a safe space to hang out.
"This space is intended to be inclusive as we are registered to the Welcome Here Project to promote a safe environment for the LGBTI+ community and we're big advocates for the Ask For Angela campaign," he said.
"We have big plans for the Blind Pig once it reopens after the coronavirus passes."
