Police were called to a driving complaint about the driver of a Toyota Corolla at about 10.30pm Monday, and when the vehicle refused to pull over officers engaged in a pursuit.
The pursuit lasted several minutes before police terminated the chase on Ophir Road.
Police commenced investigations into the vehicle, and on Thursday the 43-year-old male driver was arrested heading into a bank on Summer Street.
He was arrested just after 12 noon on Thursday and taken to Orange Police Station where he was charged with not stopping for police, driving without a licence and drug possession.
In an unrelated incident, police arrested an 18-year-old man, alleging he was responsible for a break and enter at a cafe just off Summer Street.
At 12.10am on Sunday the man was arrested for an unrelated matter and released on bail, but after the report of the theft of a bottle of hand sanitiser and a tip jar on Sunday evening police visited the man again in a motel in Orange.
At about 1pm on Wednesday he was again arrested and refused bail to appear in Orange Local Court on Thursday.
