At this stage the free coffees will be offered at Factory Espresso each Friday until the end of May. However, John Cook Real Estate principal Anthony Cook said it will also depend on the situation in Orange regarding coronavirus.
"If it takes longer we will keep going," Mr Cook said.
He said the money donated for the coffees was being provided by John Cook Real Estate, Aaron Blowes from Blowes Clothing, Tim Leahey from Tony Leahey Motor Group and Nick and Ruby Gleeson from Factory Espresso.
Mr Cook said emergency services and hospital workers could show their credentials to have their coffee paid for as part of the initiative.
"We were talking about how [coronavirus] affected our businesses and it's obviously hurt everything within the town, and the people who don't get to speak as much are the ones who are on the front line," Mr Cook said.
"If they could get a free coffee every Friday for the next two months, it's something to look forward to, [coronavirus] is a terrible thing.
"We hope the virus is gone by [the end of May] but if it's not we will continue to provide them with free coffee until they no longer need them."
