Canobolas Rural Technology High School's Clontarf Foundation staff co-ordinated the delivery of the food to doorsteps on Monday.
Staff member Tom Goolagong said they made deliveries of 72 hampers to 369 people. He said the hampers included two loaves of bread, one kilogram packs of chicken schnitzels, packs of chicken tenders and frozen nuggets.
Mr Goolagong said the hampers would provide enough for several meals for each family.
The food was provided by Barrett's Wholesale Foods. Much of it was donated free while some of it was supplied at cost price.
Mr Goolagong said other Orange businesses had stepped in to cover the cost of the food.
"We're all good now," he said.
It follows the delivery of hams and other food to families in Orange at Christmas by Clontarf staff after suppliers provided the food.
