NSW Police confirmed officers were called to Ophir Road at 11.35am following reports of a single-vehicle incident seven kilometres from the CBD.
The driver, who has yet to be formally identified, was unable to be revived and died at the scene - the Central Western Daily understands she remained trapped in the car until forensic investigators arrived.
Initial inquiries indicated the vehicle left the road, colliding with a tree and rolled onto its roof.
The Ambulance Rescue helicopter and NSW Rural Fire Service also attended.
The road was closed near the Cullya Road intersection while investigations took place.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
