FOUR drink drivers have lost their licence after being caught on the region's roads across the weekend.
Traffic and Highway Patrol Command say they have been increasing their focus on drink driving due to two recent fatal crashes involving alcohol.
During the two days, Central West Highway Patrol officers detected the following drink drivers:
39-year-old male from Orange detected in the mid range after being stopped for speeding. His licence was suspended and he was charged to appear before Orange Local Court.
37-year-old male from Parkes detected in the low range. He was charged due to it being his second offence to appear before Parkes Local Court in May.
60-year-old male from Forbes detected in the low range. He was issued a $572 infringement notice and his licence suspended for three months.
76-year-old male from Trundle detected in the low range. He was issued a $572 infringement and had his licence suspended for three months.
Central West Highway Patrol in Orange and Parkes will continue to focus on and detect drink drivers.
