Jets had to be up to the task, not once but twice, to take out the 2019-20 Orange Water Polo senior crown in an action-packed finals night.
Organisers had to cram the semi-finals and grand final into the one night due to the impact of COVID-19.
It also meant second-placed Kinross were forced to withdraw from the competition.
The withdrawal of Kinross meant third-placed Flounders moved directly into the decider and had to wait for the clash between top qualifiers Jets and fourth-placed Corbas to see who they would take on.
Cobras put up a good fight but were no match for Jets, who took the win 8-1.
In the grand final, it was the opening half which made the difference with Jets able to take a 3-1 lead.
Jason Davenport and Penny Green were strong in attack for Flounders but Davenport was the only one to get on the scoreboard in the opening half.
As the game progressed, Jets started to tire while Flounders were able to maintain their energy.
With one quarter to go Jets were up 5-1 but Flounders came back in the final period with goals to James Brouff and Lachlan Patterson.
The Jets defence was able to prevent the score closing further and they held on for a tough win.
Williams was impressive in front of goals again for Jets with three goals in the grand final while young gun Will Thornhill and Brad Timbs also found the back of the goal.
A key for Jets was their multiple attacking options each time they moved the ball forward.
SEMI-FINAL: JETS 8 (Nikita Williams 4, Brett Wells 2, Will Thornhill, Adam Savage) def COBRAS 1 (Matt Forsyth).
GRAND FINAL: JETS 5 (Nikita WIlliams 3, Will Thornhill, Brad Timbs) def FLOUNDERS 3 (Jason Davenport, Lachlan Patterson, James Brouff).
