A MAN has been charged with large commercial drug supply at Molong after almost 1.5 kilograms of the drug ice and more than 500 grams of cannabis were seized from a vehicle on Thursday.

About 6.30pm, officers from Western Region Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped a Toyota Corolla on the Mitchell Highway at Molong.
After speaking with the driver, detectives from Orana Mid-Western Police District conducted a search of the Corolla, and located 517 grams of cannabis and 1.47 kilograms of methylamphetamine.
Police said the drugs were secreted in the door and had an estimated street value of $7000 and $500,000 respectively.
The 47-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station.
He was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, one for a large commercial quantity.
The man was refused bail to appear before Orange Local Court on Friday.
